PowerSaving2 – Programmatically send computer screen to standby mode
This is an update of previous PowerSaving, hence the “2″ in PowerSaving2.
PowerSaving is a small program to send computer screen to standby power saving mode, or turn it on, initially to support the green programme 
Features
- To be launched from Windows Scheduler,
using simple command-line, please note that the command line are case-sensitive and prefixed by a single-dash:- -monitorOFF
to send computer screen to Power Saving mode
eg. PowerSaving2 -monitorOFF - -monitorON
to activate the screen, we can move mouse or press a key, but we can also do it programmatically for example in unattended public display
eg. PowerSaving2 -monitorON
- -monitorOFF
- No install/uninstallation, very small single executable file
