As I posted in my other blog, we’ve got problem with our old hosting, all sites were down.

Now we have restored this blog, checking all links. Not too many links but may there are links still not correctly set.

Di Twitter kita dapat meninggalkan pesan pendek (140 karakter) mengenai aktivitas kita, pengumuman singkat, dan hal lainnya; kurang lebih semacam status di Facebook, tapi ada bedanya, pesan kita di Twitter bisa dilihat oleh publik tanpa perlu menjadi anggota ataupun login Twitter.
Untuk yang paranoid, ada pilihan juga untuk tidak mempublikasikan Twitter itu.

Penerapan Twitter ini beragam, dapat digunakan oleh anggota tim suatu projek untuk saling bertukar informasi secara praktis, atau untuk pengumuman singkat, progress suatu projek, untuk promosi suatu perusahaan, atau bahkan untuk kegiatan seorang presiden !

Happy New Year 2009, hope for better life, better living, peace and harmony for all !

Selamat Tahun Baru 2009, semoga menjadikan kehidupan dan harapan yang lebih baik, untuk ibu Pertiwi Indonesia.

Perbedaan adalah hal alami, diperlukan dalam dinamika kehidupan, seperti kutub utara – selatan, siang – malam, positif – negatif. Tidak akan menarik bila segala sesuatunya seragam, hanya berupa deretan tak berarti.

Bangsa yang besar menghormati pendahulunya, dan mereka mewariskan pemikiran bahwa Indonesia adalah Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, beragam budaya memberi warna dan menyatukan bangsa, kita wajib menjaga perbedaan itu tetap harmonis.

Got problem, new domain name.

Got problem with my previous domain name (dewaindrayana.com), although I am pretty sure that I will get back my domain name, but all 2008′s writings were simply gone…

I think it’s already backed-up somewhere but lack of time to find it, instead of waiting the domain, I start over and launch this new domain, hope it will last longer …

df – Disk Free for Windows

Do not compare this ‘df’ with ‘df’ on *nix :p
This ‘df’ just a simple tiny (only 40KB) console application to show disk size, free space, used space, with percentage of each installed fixed drives in Windows.

After feedback by readers, I rearranged Trooper-Indonesia BALI to make it easier to see Recent Posts and Comments. Current theme was not suitable so we have to choose another theme; create or select from massive collection on the net.
After comparing more than dozen, and our own creation, then we choose New Order theme by writerspace with very little modification to suit the site.
And many new pictures added to the gallery, please give it a visit !

And about site update, dewai.net also updated with even simpler theme than before, based on pure_simple by writerspace also. I just add widget support and moved sidebar to the rightside.

Problem with Indosat’s DNS

For about a week, seems there’s problem with Indosat’s DNS server, it can not resolve some domain name including this dewai.net !
Naturally I complained the hosting service, because I can browse other sites without any problem. After some testing then I realized the problem at their DNS 202.155.0.10/202.155.0.15, I changed to other DNS: 212.2.96.52 (I think it is Telkom’s )
This morning I tried to use only Indosat’s, but the problem’s still there so I added back 212.2.96.52.

Is it very difficult problem for company like Indosat ?

UPD:
It seems OK since about 1800 this evening, need to test again…
