Tugas ibu sangat berat, sejak pagi hari mulai menyiapkan anak-anak, menyiapkan “perlengkapan” suami seperti kopi atau yang lain, koran, pakaian kantor, sepatu, kaus kaki… (apa mungkin suami itu juga masuk golongan anak-anak ya ? ok, ok, tidak semua laki-laki…) dan setelah semua siap, barulah si ibu mempersiapkan dirinya sendiri yang biasanya lebih rumit, belum lagi masalah make-up…

Belakangan ini para ibu mendapat tantangan serius: poligami.
Berita poligami semakin rajin nongol di media, para laki-laki punya berbagai alasan: “kasihan, wajib ditolong” sampai dengan “…daripada TTM !”, mulai dari penyanyi sampai janda…
Dan yang paling hebat, mereka itu termasuk “orang penting” yang sering muncul di media. Mungkin dengan harapan, semakin sering diberitakan masyarakat umum (baca: perempuan) akan terbiasa dan menerima poligami ini. Wow !
Ok, kita tidak membahas hal itu disini

Para ibu, selamat Hari Ibu !

So many things to do, so many problems, so many complaints, so many disasters, so many conflicts, yet so much fun.
Problems happen not because of Indonesia, but some bad guys. Let’s hope they will be paid.

I think they deserve it. More if possible, not just a ceremonial day.

With the news’ filled with many bad things about cruelty toward women, I can not do a thing but think: how can it be ?

I always respect women in many ways; for a quick example: woman can act as a mom, a daddy, a friend, do housework. A man ? hardly ever I heard a man act as mom !

For that simple thing, in my opinion, is enough to put huge respect.

Another thing, in general, endurance of a woman is far stronger than a man: physically and mentally.

I give a quick sample in a daily life: prepare breakfast, prepare everybody in the home, after eight hours of working day, she still has time for her husband, for kids, doing many houseworks.

And the most important, woman proved to be more stress-proof.

Selamat Hari Ibu, for moms out there.

PS. I’m a man. But I do respect women.
